We need fewer people concerned about GMOs and "chemicals" and a lot more concerned about good governance. It's estimated that the planet can comfortably support 5 billion. As we approach 10 billion we will not be able to produce enough food to feed that many.Demeurhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01935263659097273535noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8689245642139665514.post-15051328064941815672011-11-01T14:49:13.063-06:002011-11-01T14:49:13.063-06:00My guess is that it is as close to "middle cl...My guess is that it is as close to "middle class" as they can calculate on a global basis. The bottom end is pretty poor in USA, Canada or Europe but in a great many countries one would be low end of middle class with $10,000 annual income. Even in Ukraine. The Blog Fodderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11441978691701289074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8689245642139665514.post-17756211749935597472011-10-31T23:52:50.544-06:002011-10-31T23:52:50.544-06:00It seems odd that they would lump everyone togethe...It seems odd that they would lump everyone together who was making between $10,000 and $100,000, given that the lower number is below the poverty level, here in the U.S. anyway, whereas the higher number would suggest a rather affluent household.Snowbrushhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00436087215476479042noreply@blogger.com
