Done for the summer

Too tired to blog. Mood up and down like Mary's pants a picnic following American and Ukrainian news.

See you in the fall.

  3. wish you the best summer and self care is important. I will be headed to Sask this week for my sisters 85 birthday-made me aware that I may not have all that many celebrations left so at our age we have to take every opportunity.
Pleased to see the lesser pumpkin (apologies to peanuts) will not try to seize Canada militarily! Smart choice as Americans have grown so dependent on cheap immigrant labor that they can't even wipe their own behinds anymore so their military would be plagued by desertions if they were to ever leave their compound.
Best wishes for a good summer

    1. Will you be in Regina? Agree that teh US military would not find Canada easy to hold. We would be like Afghanistan. Easy to conquer, impossible to control

  4. Summer? For those of us who lack your precociousness, summer doesn't start until June 20th.

    1. When I worked at HBC in Cambridge Bay, spring was when the sun came back up, summer was when the water started to run, fall was just before the supply ship came in about Sept 1st. Winter was the natural climate

    2. I didn't know of your HBC work in the Great White North, but I can see why you would refer to the seasons as you did.

    3. HBC was my only option since the French Foreign Legion was disbanded.

  5. Enjoy your break, and I hope you find many other happier and more satisfying pursuits than reading the news.

  7. Sorry-Regina would add another 500 miles to the trip-since my seizures I am not allowed to drive so Sheila has to make do with Elon as co-pilot so trying to minimize as much as possible. Hopefully, if Elon kills anyone it will be us---but I do have an out- it is one of the 100% Chinese model Y with the superior fit and finish according to Car and Driver.
Will be thinking of you and Ukraine-sorry-its not enough but it is all I can do in my condition.
