A wonderful column  about the Harper Republicans.

  1. Scary stuff. Reviewed. Utterly to the point. Even Harper supporters are getting a bit tired of him.

  2. And I always thought Hitler didn't have any offspring. Silly me.

Off subject but beef prices here have doubled in the last two weeks. Even chicken and pork are very high now.

  3. Funny about beef prices doubling now. There will be more beef before there is less as cattle herds are reduced because of drought - lack of pasture and high feed prices. Chicken and poultry are understandable with short life cycles. They can respond more quickly to higher feed prices by reducing volume of production.

  4. You need to remember they had a drought here last year which reduced the herds quite a bit. I figure the ranchers were wise to try and eliminate as many as they could expecting more dry weather this year. They are to the point in Texas where there is no grazing land to speak of. It's all parched dirt. Scary times indeed.
