Quotations are wise tools. They can say things so succinctly, and devastatingly.
ReplyDeleteOf course, you have to be brilliant to invent the quote in the first place. Or else very aware of yourself and your world.
One of my favorites was when W.C Fields was seen at near the end of his life laboriously reading the bible. When asked what he was doing he replied "Looking for loopholes".

My kids have a series of my quotes which they say they will engrave on my tombstone.
